The Mogul is probably the best resturant in York. Very good value.

There's places on campus that do food during the week and it's fairly reasonably priced.Vanbrugh, Wentworth and the Roger Kirk centre are all pretty good.

Cook big batches of things and freeze them for cheap ready meals.

You don't want to be eating out more than once, maybe twice a week if money is tight.
