Israel supports the protesters providing they remain peaceful.

And we will hopefully have done something about this, once China comes to its senses.

Teehar, I'm so darn sure that Bush quote in your signature was taken TOTALLY out of context! What's the 2nd half of the sentence?

News sensationalisers like you are the ones that need to be sued. :p:

China has recently purchased oil drilling blocks in Sudan, £1.2 billion each. This does not aid the effort of the countries seeking to help Sudan. With the UN send ing its troops to the middle-east and other nations, a greater contribution of support nations is needed.

Realistically, the support required to fix the Darfur situation will have to come from nations outside Africa. African countries are unable to commit a force large enough to be effective, primarily due to economic constraints. Considering the scale on which African nations have deplyed troops to other war-torn countries on the continent (Congo, Uganda, Rwanda, Somalia etc.), it is, in our opinion, simply impossible for more African troops to be sent to Sudan.

South Africa supports the worldwide protests, but urges other member states to provide support.
