University of Southampton stem cell discovery

Have you heard about our recent stem cell discovery? Our scientists have found that a region on the front surface of the eye harbours special stem cells, which could lead to improved treatments for blinding eye conditions.

We're really excited by the possibility of new treatments that this discovery could open up. Is anyone else interested in this area of research?

Question: will this be able to treat my eye? I have minor laser damage so some cells at the back of the retina died.
