Honest advice sought after from guys!

Guys advice needed!

Honest replies ONLY & no douche-baggery/lad remarks. I want serious answers. So to give a bit off context: I'm in yr12 and so is the other guy. We don't have any lessons together and last Thursday is when we first had an official conversation.

To cut a long story short, on Thursday lunchtime me and this guy who I never had a proper conversation had a really flitartious interaction during Thursday lunch. I wasn't in on Friday and on Monday & Tuesday he would call me across the corridors but I never approached him. He did this multiple times throughout the day, but after that he stopped. I think he got annoyed with me never responding, I purposely never meant to ignore him, but he was around his friends and I felt like I would say something to just embarrass myself (we were alone during Thursday lunch) so I never approached him. On Friday I said hi to him and he never said anything back. I think I really pissed him off w/ignoring him - is there any hope with returning our relationship
or has the time passed?
