Are these good A-level choices?
I'm thinking of taking Psychology, Media, Sociology and BTEC Health and social care Diploma.
Are these very hard subjects to take together and do they all include a lot of essay writing?

It depends what you want to do in the future 
overall they're perceived as soft subjects.
There would be lots of essay writing for psychology and sociology and lots of coursework for health and social care. So if you don't mind writing and coursework then you'll be ok!
