Tesco Tech Specialist? Info please

Recently applied for Tesco Electrical but in the interview they asked if I would be interested in being a Tech Specialist.
They said they would offer me the job if I can pass a Tech Specialist exam

So my questions are how much is the wage for a Tech Specialist and do you get better pay on Sundays?
and what does the exam include, has anyone here taken it before?

Pay is better for Tech Support as it is a skilled position. The amount will depend on your area but is generally 50p more than GAs.

The exam is a written multiple choice test with questions about the innards of computers and televisions and various things along with explaining terminology. This is usually followed by a practical assessment of your skills where you are given a product and asked to 'sell it' to the assessor.

I haven't done this in 5 years though so could be different now.
