24+ Loans

Hi everyone,

I'm returning to education next year and I have a couple of questions about the 24+ loan scheme. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help with the answers.

1) The stuff I've read says I'll be eligible for a loan for courses that start before 31st July 2015 but the course I'm looking to do starts in September 2015. Does anyone know if the scheme is/isn't going to be continued?

2) I've had a student loan in the past, am I still eligible for a 24+ loan?
