How much work experience do you need to get in?
For anything except Medicine because I am aware you need alot for that.But for example engineering?

I've recently got my offer from Manchester for Engineering. I have 6 weeks of an Industrial Engineering placement under my belt.
2 of my mate has offer for Chem Eng AT Manchester. Experience a couple summer schools at Imp & Cambridge. Work exp in Hospitals etc.. but nothing relevant.
Very little is ever needed.
You don't need any experience to get into engineering courses.
It's not really necessary, I wouldn't worry too much if you are unable to get any.
