Peerweb? Sharing between network.

Most uni's have a good file sharing community on their networks. Sussex seems to have a great connection so it seems odd that this hasn't been sorted out already. I'm not particularly IT sassy, but surely we should get a good PeerWeb community on the go asap?

Anyone good at computers want to tell me why not so I can get back to my bit-torrents :biggrin:

Interesting. When I was at Sussex (ie until June this year), you could access shared folders on the WiFi...

And I seem to remember a 'net send' working too...

The Sussex network is crap. Considering all that you have do on your computer just to set it up added with the fact the internet goes slow, randomly dies, and no longer lets basic things work properly (e.g., Javascript), it's a bunch of ****.

And yeah, I'd like a sharing system so I can watch Lost Season 3. :P
