Advice for ucas?

I submitted my UCAS application around a week ago but got an email saying that my personal statement had matched with that of another applicants. I did my statement using my own words, except for the last couple of sentences in my last paragraph. I have 2 choices; the first being to withdraw my current application and re send it with a revised version of my personal statement, or, call the universities and ask them whether or not I can send a new personal statement over. With the latter, I feel that they will be more likely to refuse my application. What would you all say is the best thing to do? Any help is much appreciated.

Borrowing sentences from someone else's PS? You plonker.

Resend your entire application with a NEW PS - because that way it wont be that obvious to the Unis that you were caught. If you contact each Uni and explain, then they will certainly know wont they?
