I'm currently doing a BA at Cordwainers in Fashion Accessories and would like to take a two year break before my final year so that I can go and do another course. The course is similar in a way, it is still Cordwainers but it's in saddlery. Something I'd really like to explore and at the end of the two years I get an NVQ Level 3.
Is it worth asking for a two year break before I get my BA so that I have all the qualifications in one basket before I graduate? Or graduate first and then go and do the NVQ?
The only reason I ask is because once I've graduated, I'd prefer to go straight to work - as in I'd prefer to strike while the iron is hot and get the things done that I can do now while I have the drive for it.
Thoughts?
