I know its next to Ethiopia and that I don't know how to pronounce it.

How do you say it? I've always wanted to use it in quizzes for countries beginning with D that noone else has heard of.

Yes, I am aware.

Former French colony, mostly just desert and very little else, I can't recall if there's any oil.

Hosts a US military base if memory serves me correctly.

Not necessarily, there are a lot of other indigenous folk who live in Djibouti such as the Afar people.

You also have your fair share of Ethiopian, French and Arab people who live there too☺️

P.S. there's no such as thing as Somalian people, the collective term remains as Somali* and doesn't change😉
