Hi,
I am thinking of applying to SFP this year. Where are you thinking to apply? I am thinking of East Midlands
I'm so unsure of to if to apply or not. If im honest im not that interested in research but If it would significantly improve my application fo speciality training I'd be keen (i want to do paediatrics). It seems like ALOT of extra hassel, bsically like applying for med school all over again which not sure i have the energy for. I've also heard it makes it harder to have a good time in junior doctor years and you can become very bogged down in research hours. My issue is that with the new KSS changes we dont know how many paediatric posts there will be in the normal FP until after applying to the denary...

What does it mean if your application status changed to longlisted?

It means you have passed the first part of the application. For most deaneries they longlist then shortlist (usually means offered interview). Longlisting is usually based on deciles or other points. Congratulations!

which AUoA did you apply to? (if you don't mind sharing)

Hello there! I've also applied to East Midlands and my status still says "longlisted" so... Perhaps they're behind with their published schedule?
I saw on northwest of England website is that they will send interview/short listing on NOv. 15, does anyone know if Scotland provided a date? i cannot seem to find it

I can’t find the date scotland sends interview invites just the interview days that are 25/26 November so I imagine it can’t be tooo far away - has yours changed from long listing at all?

Any ideas on the interview structure? The website mentions nothing of the sort other than having only "one station" and I would really appreciate some help
I got an interview, but my Oriel hasn't updated the interview tab, so I can't actually book one? Anyone got any similar issues ?
