Hellew people! i'm really unsure how to answer this question:- An elementary first order reaction A--->B obeys the rate equation d[A]/dt = k1[A]. Find an expression for the concentration [A] as a function of time, rate coefficiant k1, and an arbitrary constant. Given that [A]=[A]0 at time t=0, find the arbitrary constant.
Its basically a rearanged the integrated form of that equation (its a differential equation) sorry dont know how much maths you know but [A]=[A]0e^-(k1t)
when doin it on a calcultor e could be shown as e^x
