I'm not doing OCR B, but if the textbook is rubbish...use another one!
'Advanced Physics for You' by Keith Johnson (and others) is good and pretty clear

Get the revision CD, it seriously helps. As for Section C - you should go over that in class.

Section C generally asks the same questions year after year, it's pretty easy just to memorise your answer for section C and get full marks.
Has anyone got any condensed notes or revision help for this exam? I've written out my section c's and learnt them, been going over modules, probs do some practice papers, but if i could read anyone elses condensed notes (always interesting and helpful revision to see the different ways people condense it), links to past papers, past papers, or any advice it'd be great. Thanx.

I do OCR B advancing physics and agree that the book's rubbish, but if you just learn the stuff in the blue boxes and go throught the specification you can get full marks without even using the CD. There was just so much stuff on it i didn't know where to start.
As for section C, http://sam.davyson.com/as/physics/ saved my life last year
