Nursing: Pro's and con's of starting in February rather than September

Hello!

Glad to say been offered a place for adult nursing. However I am not sure whether to start in September or ask to be put on February waiting list.

Can you guys tell me some pros and con's of starting in February?

I.e affect on accommodation? Miss fresher's week? Miss on joining societies etc....

Hello again:P

I d say you d probably find it harder to get accommodation in feburary and would have possibly stranger annual leave times, however anyone can join a society any time of the year and i m sure there d be social things put on if you started in February so as long as you dont mind what accomodation you end up with and if you have werid holidays why not start in feb :smile:

Many thanks for your answers! I had a feeling that may be the case. But as long as I'm going on the course at my chosen university. I can live with it starting February.
