Definitely the 80s then. 79 looks possible but on the whole it shouldn't stray too fast from those.

i found the may 2013 paper easier than this one though

You're telling me an A is 128? And can possibly go lower? Are you feeling okay? Its 132 and can probably hit 129 MINIMUM!

Yeah you're supposed to add them. The answer was 7 on the top and -4 on the bottom.

ahh thanks you xx
Why would the increase the boundary for A ( as some of you are saying 63-65)? Shouldn't it be lower to around 60 for an A?

Lool never 60 and it was never 63, its usually 67. It should decrease to 63, that'll be fair!

grade boundaries for the past years

I don't see a usual 67. So... how come?
Well, the boundaries will be out in August anyhow.

Yo. For 18 (the one with the multiple of 8), I used the 4(X+3) method but I went off the unofficial markscheme a little.

I said that x (an odd number) plus 3 (another odd) = an even
Then I said every even multiple of 4 is a multiple of 8; which is true.
Do you think I will get the marks?
There was one year when an A* was 74% Can't remember which year/paper it was though but I definitely remember as I did it a few days ago. I reckon this year the grade boundaries will be something like this:

A* - 78%
A - 60%
B - 42%

Is that edexcel? Damn ! I heard an A was 134 marks, it wouldn't be 120 though, it would be 124 ish... Which is reasonable! Calculator shouldn't be killer hard though

I just checked the june 2014. An A was 66 in calc, 67 in Non Calc. Or vice versa but 133 total, edexcel GCSE mathematics.

Not really sure, but I don't think that was applicable to the students other than from UK. Did you check from the IGCSE grade boundary, if you yourself are an IGCSE student?

Exactly what I did!! It's the Or method for the unofficial markscheme. Not sure if it will be in the real one though

saying that, If that question came up in IGCSE, I would have killed it, and wouldn't really be worrying whether I got an A* or not if that was the hardest question...
