Haha, you're welcome!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you, hopefully LSE and/or Oxford work out, I'm sure you'll get an offer from QMUL.

Lol, I've started doing MAT past papers and my score keeps fluctuating between 68-85%, It's super irritating.

Still waiting to hear back from my university choices, it's been more than a month

I haven't heard of any CompSci offers going out yet, though the one applicant for it at my school hasn't even applied yet!

The HAT is so subjective, hard to mark, I'll just pray for the best on the day! :colondollar:

Thank you! I'm sure you'll be fine

Nobody at my school has had rejections yet, let's hope it stays that way for everybody here!

YEY!

Good luck, I hope you get offers!

Have you decided on which universities you want your firm/insurances choices to be if you get offered? I'm hoping for York to be my firm and Bradford to be my insurance. :colondollar:

That's reassuring! I've seen a fair few on TSR with CompSci offers at Warwick, but none yet for the course I applied for (Data Science) so here's hoping they send them out soon. :h:

Uggh, ssubjective marking is the bain of my life. How do you cope?!! What does the HAT involve?

Phew! No news is good news as they say.

Thank you! Good luck to you too
And well I'm applying for Cambridge so if by some miracle I get an offer that'll be my firm and Manchester my insurance. If no offer from Cambridge, Manchester will be my firm and York my insurance

Yeah loads of people I know with Warwick offers, just one of my friends waiting for a PPE one!

Mostly source analysis with one own knowledge essay. The essay is pretty broad so people from all backgrounds can sit it. It's hard but doable imo

I do English Lit too and that has to be the most subjective so I'm used to it

I knowwww, hang in there though, our offers will come in due time. :yep:

I'm just keeping myself busy with studying right now.

Where have you applied for and for which subjects?
Original post by bloyce2000
Hi my names Bloyce,
I am currently attending Eton College I have 15 GCSEs 14 of which being A*s the A still haunts me :frown:. Post GCSEs, I went to the Eton sixth form to study GCE Advanced Level. I officially did 6 subjects however I do not consider further maths another subject. Not including this, I do maths, physics, biology, chemistry, and English. Achieving 100, 100, 100, 98, a poor 96 and 100 in further maths if its significant *chuckles*. I will be applying to The London metropolitan university, East London, Bolton, Sunderland and my ambitious choice being Buckinghamshire New University, being a respectable 113th.
The questions I need answering, are as follows:
Am I good enough?
Will I suit the university environment?
Is my ambitious choice realistic considering I don't want to risk losing an offer?
thanks,
Bloyce xx

you clearly know you are good enough. none of these are particularly ambitious for someone with your grades.
