Why are people so bitter towards 'spoiled' kids

I think you generally need to be sensitive to the fact that not everyone else is as well off as you, and that there are complex reasons for that. For example, both my parents went to uni, and yet I'm still not as well off as some of my friends from university simply because of family history and the inheritance of wealth.
