I actually do not feel strange about being pathan. My parents speak pashto all the time. I just reply in Urdu even if I fully understand pashto.

True, my parents speaks punjabi but we reply back in Arabic or urdu. I wish I could learn how to speak punjabi fluently, I can only understand it :redface:

My father lived in uae for 38 years so because of that, he taught me Arabic and we speak a lot of it haha, Although he didn't forget his punjabi! I am born and raised in UAE and attended Arabic kindergarten as well, so I did learn it quite good :biggrin:
