Under performed in choice subject at AS
Hello,
I got my AS results today.
Politics - A
Philosophy - A
Economics - B
History - C
The issue is that history is my favourite and (usually) my best subject. It's what I intended to do for university aswell (Edinburgh, York, Warwick etc), I assume I'm right in thinking that there's no chance of me getting offers from any of those for history. However would there be more chance of me being successful if I tried for a combined honours such as history and politics?
Also how easy is it to switch your course once at the uni.

Try getting a remark for your History exams. You will probably need the prediction of an A to get offers from such unis and that would be much more believable from a B at AS.
