I feel for you, I thought I was going to have an English teacher for French but fortunately I ended up with two French teachers. While you're at a slight disadvantage to others, don't worry!
Your teacher will be fully qualified to teach you. I'm sure there will be one native Spanish speaker who you could speak to if necessary. Suerte ! Me gustaria aprender español en the future
