Is my driving instructor going too slow/ripping me off?

Iisten I've been driving for a few years now with out a license yeah i no iam a bad boy but this is not about that I've had five lessons first time I met my instructor he let me Jump Staight in driving seat and get on with it I've done bay parking roundabouts u-turns are 3 point turns but the thing is I know I can drive yes I have a couple of bad habits but when do you really know if your instructor is going to tell you when you're ready or is he just going to make more money help
