What desk size can I expect?

Which halls were/are you in and what are the dimensions of your desk? Just a rough estimate would still be really helpful if you don't know exactly. Thanks :smile:

Falk Egg. I have a big enough desk for my laptop, TV, Xbox, speakers and space to do work.
Might be the cheapest hall but it's definitely the best.

I'm in the holt, and the desks here span across the whole of the narrow wall so have so much room. Got my 17" laptop, printer, iPod docking station, makeup box (my friend has a large mirror on hers) and there's still a whole section for books/note taking in the middle.
William Morris has the same room layout in the ensuite rooms, too.
Hazelrigg Rutland and bakewell both have large desks too, although not as wide as described above, but with large shelves over it where you can put things too

Yeah I just have all my cables tucked behind my laptop so it still looks clean and all the cables are out of the way, but having an extension lead has made it a bit annoying.

Hi,

I live in Robert Bakewell halls and the desks are bigger than you think. I have enough space for my macbook, monitor, stationary off to the side and all my pads (design student).

Probably just over 5ft long
