Overall grade for module

Bit of a random question but heyho.
I'm studying a subject that has an economics module, where i have two tests worth 15% and one large test worth 70% of the module.

Since i am only in my first year i only really need 40% to pass the module, but i have just done one of my 15% tests and was one mark short of 40% :frown:. Will i need to get 40% in each test or could i get say 39% in one and more than 40% in the others to get an average over 40% overall to pass the module?

Thanks a lot
I'm pretty sure most Uni's end up getting your total score by averaging all of your work together.

However my uni requires that you have to get over a pass on every aspect or the entire thing is failed.

Talk to, or email, your tutor if you can. It's hard to help as uni's do things differently.

Best of luck dude!
I should be okay eitherway as I have a retake for it. But i'd prefer to know, i go to university of birmingham if anyone reads this and knows.

Thanks anyway!
