Top Shia Scholar executed in Saudi Arabia causes outrage.. Thoughts?

Sheik Al Nimr was executed by Saudi Arabia when we convicted for so-called terrorism (the irony). These claims were claimed baseless and even organisations like Amnesty International urged them to free the scholar. He called for elections and criticized the Saudi royal family

From what I can gather, he wanted democratic elections and told people to demonstrate without violence. So it seems like a political murder.

Still, there's money to be made from business and arms deals, so we should respect the Saudi way of doing things (and all the other crap the Conservative Saudi apologists come out with).

It's honestly horrific. I've read that this was largest executions (I think over 150) since 1995. This has caused a lot of outrage especially with shias so countries like Iran, Lebanon and parts of Iraq may take action against this.
