Anyone here interested in Entertainment Law? If so, could you please inform me of how one goes about specialising in that particular area? I am more concerned with practicing in the US rather than the UK, but any information or anecdotes dealing with Entertainment Law would be great!

Not a branch of law I wish to pursue but it is interesting.. I know entertainment lawyers in the music industry in the US do very very well. Perhaps you should do some research on google and see what you find.

I wonder whether entertainment lawyers actually meet the singers/actors in person or just their agents....

by the way, in UK i think entertainment law is not "hot". Media/IP lawyers usually do their jobs.

I am really interested in that field actually and am trying to develop my interest in it.

It's a money whore area.
