They said i have a place but the conference is in a week and I haven’t received those forms or heard back since then, apart from the stash. I definitely sent a confirmation email and I emailed again to ask but I haven’t heard anything back.

Really? The dietary form should've been at the bottom of the email saying you managed to get a place. Go double check!
