How does working part time affect the student loan?

I am planning to work part time during uni but I dont know if it is actually worth it since they will give me living loan if I dont work, so I wanted to know if anyone experienced the change in living loan after starting to work part time during uni and was it for the better or for the worse?

It will make no difference to your Student Finance.

If you're under 25, then the income-assessed part of the Maintenance Loan is calculated only on your parents' household income. How much you earn is irrelevant and will be ignored by Student Finance.

If you're 25 or over and going into full-time uni study, then SF automatically assess you on zero income.

Either way, any earnings from a part-time job will not make a difference to how much Student Finance you get.
