How much maths do Actuary's use/do? Is it harder than university maths? Can anyone compare the maths that Actuary's use compared to university maths?

Depends on the area you're in and your specific job. The early exams get to around final year maths at a top uni (but obviously concentrated on statistics only). In your day to day job, you're very unlikely to use loads of complicated maths whatever area you're in, however some roles do require more maths, sometimes even day-to-day (capital modelling for general insurers for example).
