Don't focus on the name of universities, look at what they can offer you in terms of course content, extra curriculars, location etc and go on what suits you best.

You need more than the name of your university to get you places, focus on good, consistent grades, extra curriculars and work experience to build knowledge and skills.

For those interested, employers outside of the UK - in Europe, the Americas, Asia etc - look at two rankings in particular. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings and the QS. They would look at the reputation overall, as well as the department/faculty. The Times is also popular among the academics. This is important because many students are misled into believing that the Guardian or the Complete University Guide are of major importance.
