What glib nonsense. For starters, religions like Buddhism and Jainism contain hardly any violence if any at all and are therefore in no way comparable to faiths like Islam that are overflowing in hatred and aggression.

Strawman. Your contention was that the religions have equal potential for violence. The actions of religious people do not necessarily correspond to the religious dogma. As I said, religions like Buddhism and Jainism contain demonstrably less violence and aggression than Christianity and Islam. And global attacks certainly show that the latter have a much higher potential for extremism than the former.
