What is your definition of basics, what level have you already reached?

What level do you hope to achieve, what would you like to be able to do?

If GCSE maths, best resource i'd advise you to use is MathsWatch (not free though i dont think, my school had it, but it was on youtube for a while).
They start from like E-D grade and go over everything in GCSe maths and have questions to practice.

If you say so, but I highly recommend that you check out websites such as Exam Solutions and Khan Academy, both will supplement any book you found online well and often explains concepts much more rigorously if you are struggling with the book's explanation.
