Joint Honours English Spanish

Joint honours English Spanish...Can anyone help? I have been predicted A*Eng B Spanish, C History, is it worth applying for Uni's who want AAB/ABB.

Is there no way you can get the C predicted to a B? If you could that would really put you in a much better situation.

Modern languages isn't the most competitive course (because not many people do languages at A level and subsequently not at uni), so I would still apply to a few unis with the AAB/ABB requirements. Then again, English is quite competitive, so my advice would be to ask about getting the B predicted.
Spanish degree courses are usually struggling to fill their places, more so than other courses. I would say do go for it, but you might like to consider having an 'insurance' choice that is at the same level as your predicted grades (this will probably mean looking for a uni that expresses its requirements in UCAS points because you have a fair spread of grades) if you want to avoid any danger of going into Clearing.
