Should I take a gap year? And which uni is the best?

I'm in my third year of college. My first year I resetted my GCSE English and did a BTEC Level 2 science program. I didnt really have an ambition and still kinda don't. This year and last year I completed my Level 3 BTEC Extended diploma. I am applying to University but the thing is all the University want B's in Maths except coventry and birmingham city in Business/Business with law degree's. I want to go to Warwick/UoB but inorder for me to do that I need to take a gap year. I'm 18 and will be 19 when september 2017 rolls around so I dont think the government will pay for me to sit 5 GCSE's. So I am asking should I take a gap year and do GCSE or just go to Coventry /BCU? I'm only thinking of doing a gap year bc I am thinking about my future employment.

I took a gap year. From my experience I'd recommend for you to go with Coventry. Maybe not BCU. If you're planing to do other things along with studying during your gap year then do a gap year and aim for the best.
