Polish LEK exam and working in the UK

Just wondering if anyone has any information about taking the LEK exam after studying Medicine in Poland. I heard through the grapevine that you can skip FY1, FY2 and go straight on to apply for your specialisation if you pass this exam. Does anyone know about this system?
Hi - sorry you haven't had a response to this yet. I'm just going to bump the thread in the hope that someone sees this and can help :h:

Hi, im saddened to observe that in this forum, out of the many students and advices available on medicine and this related subject, there's none to shed any light on your question. Really sad, especially knowning there are many UK students studying in Poland, in the english language programme, who are also a member of this forum.

Now to answer your question, its once the lek exam is passed, you are able to get apply for FULL GMC registration. Which will enable you to skip the Foundation years and start from specially programme. With the polish medical diploma only, you are entitled to PROVISIONAL License, hence you are required to complete an internship.

Thank you so much nabs119, it has been near enough impossible to find any information regarding this so I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my question! Do you know where I can find any info about this or whom I should contact to confirm this information? I don't want to sit the LEK exam if I have to sit the SJT exam as well.

All the best!
