If you go on http://www.zut.org.uk/index.html (it's only free before 9am and after 4pm though)
you'll find lists of vocab arranged by year group and topic and all the words have soundfiles so you can hear a native speaker pronounce them! We were forced to listen to and repeat all of the legal system vocab in French this morning, it took forever! :s-smilie:

Hey,
what my teacher always recommended was to "speak as though you're taking the piss". So, try speaking in a really camped-up french accent complete with expressive hand gestures, and you'll hear a difference. You'll feel like a bit of an idiot, but it does work, honest!
