Hi,

This generally isn't true for Degree Classification at Brookes.

From what I believe (is currently the case but things may change), the grades from each 8 modules in your second and third years are used to calculate your traditional degree classification (e.g. 1st, 2:1, 2nd etc.). But he link above will explain this in much better detail.

Here at Brookes we also use GPA as a grading system which is internationally recognised. Your 1st year is included in your GPA and you can find more detailed information about that here: https://www.brookes.ac.uk/students/your-studies/grade-point-average/
