Every A2 subject is out of 600 and yes I think you're right there.

And to work out what you have so far, do you add up your as marks and your january results and thats it over the cumulative mark?

Every A Level is out of 600 (both years added together). Each year being out of 300.
480 out of 600 = A (80%)
Yes you add up your UMS marks to see how much you have, and so work out how much you need this summer to get your target grade.
