How to stop bra straps from rubbing?

I have a red bra from H&M, which fits me in every way apart from one problem: the straps rub me. They aren't very wide, and have stitching on the inside which really rub. It's getting my down as i love the bra but can't wear it because of this? Is there not ANYTHING i can do to make it more comfortable?

Cover the straps/stitching in dress tape or masking tape to prevent the rubbing?

replace one from another bra which you don't wear anymore. if it's unremovable, do some needlework.

I have had a similar thing before and there was nothing I could do.....if its just got a rough seem or stitching you are stuck with it.

like leannsc said...perhaps cut em of/unpick them and swop them for some off another bra?

Thanks all for your help. I have now sorted it. I had some extra bra bands from bras i had bought, which have a soft side, so i simply folded them over, and sewed them over my straps, much better :smile:
