It was 1250 cos it was in cm^3
For the 4 marker did you not have to divide volume of gas by 24 to get moles
did find it quite easy, what did people put for the number of times bigger of the yield? I got like 2.25x?
Loved that paper.
2.25 times greater for one of the questions (haber process).
17% for atom economy
5680 for the moles question (defo wrong!!)
Gas syringe for something
Too much pressure causes explosions or something.
I got that

For the pressure question, it was because of the low temperature, meant it was a slow reaction

Aaaah I got 2.25!!!!
One reason high pressure wasn’t used can be for safety , higher than 200 atmospheres is dangerous both are correct!

Too much pressure causes explosions? I think it was instead that it shifted the equilibrium to the left making more h2

I got 2732cm3 for the unreacted oxygen.
I got it as evaporating basin and Bunsen burner measuring the mas of the evaporating basin before adding water and after evaporating the water

Calculating mass of dissolved substances ? Is it condenser and Bunsen burner?

i got 6050cm cubed
6.67 for the atom economy
58.3 percent
Anyone get the answer formulation for the tablet one?
Hey guys I've merged together a few threads talking about the same markscheme

Hope the exam went okay today!
I got 1250cm^3 for the unreacted volume
that went really well!! some of the asnwers i got was 2.5 times , 58%

aluminium doesnt corrode once made cos it naturallyforms aluminium oxide when reactingwith oxygen

For the oxygen question, I believe the correct answer is 1250cm^3
The equation had 5 moles of oxygen reacting to produce 3 moles of carbon dioxide. The values given were 7.25 dm^3 of oxygen and 3.6 dm^3 of carbon dioxide produced.
To find the volume of oxygen that reacted, you do 3.6*(5/3) to get 6 dm^3 of oxygen. This, taken away from the initial volume of oxygen gave us 1.25 dm^3 of unreacted oxygen.
1.25 dm^3 = 1250 cm^3
