Driving abroad

Hi! Anyone know if I can drive abroad just with my driving certificate? (passed this past Tuesday, want to drive in Germany with my brother)

"Provisional or temporary licences, international driving permits (or any other certificates issued in your home country) are not regulated at EU level and may not be recognised in other EU countries."

It's unlikely it will be accepted since your driving licence with the EU symbol will be the recognised document to allow you to drive in other European countries.
