Exam technique

So we are told to use chains of analysis
How do I make sure i get the most marks possible on 9 markers and above as this is something that has let me down in other business papers

and also what other exam technique shall i use?

I've never done business but I try and be like an annoying toddler in exams so I explain my reasoning properly
