Hi I’m Lisi, I study Biology, Applied science and the welsh baccalaureate. I’ve got an offer for applied medical sciences at Swansea. I’ve never visited Swansea before. I’m struggling to pick between Swansea or Cardiff as my firm choice as I’ve got offers for both Uni’s. I have visited Cardiff as I live there, but I’m really struggling to choose between the two! Swansea: Applied medical sciences with a foundation year offer (A*AB) Cardiff university: Biomedical sciences with a professional training year (ABB)

Hi Lisi!

I have just finished Medical Pharmacology at Swansea - this is a very similar degree to Applied Medical Sciences as they share a lot of the same modules. Ultimately your decision should lie in which degree offers modules that you would enjoy the most but it may also be worth considering what you want to do after you graduate.
Swansea's Applied Medical Sciences course allows you to study a wide variety of different topics meaning that you are exposed to a lot of different medical and scientific fields to help guide where you may want to specialise in the future. The course also offers three employability pathways meaning that you have the chance to explore fields including Medicine, Research and Enterprise

If you have anymore questions let me know
