renting an apartment questions
I'm renting my first ever apartment in October with my boyfriend, I have a few questions
1) How long is it usually between contacting the owner of an apartment and you actually moving in
2) What are the fees you have to pay upfront? For example if I want to rent a £500 apartment, how much will I have to pay?
3) As I'm looking to move in before the first of October (that's when my uni course begins) how long is it until I should start looking for flats?

It varies. Ask about the fees and make brief summary notes. Start looking tomorrow at some and try to take it from there. Good luck. Tour the entire flat in question and take some colourful photos as well as you go over the place. Discuss everything.
