Our medical school is very new, and we have a Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre which has been open for a couple of years now. Because this building is so new and has been custom-built to train medical and health care students all the facilities are modern and filled with the best equipment. There are mock hospital wings and operating theatres for you to study and learn in on-campus before you go out on placement, there are anatomy tables for you to study and learn with, there are even dummies that move, scream, and give birth like real patients!
I only know this from a tour of the medical building, but Tony is a current Medicine student and he will be able to give you a really deep insight into the course and facilities at Edge Hill. You can chat to him via TAP here.
You may also wish to see the campus and facilities for yourself, as well as chat to the Medicine lecturers, and you can do so by attending an Open Day. All our Open Days can be found here to book your place.
I hope this helps and you find the links useful! Best of luck with your future studies
