A levels for interior architecture

I’m in the process of picking my a levels for interior architecture/design and i’m definitely choosing Design Technology, but i’m not sure about my other two, i was thinking psychology because i enjoy it, but would it be useful for a future career in interior architecture and help me get into a university that specialises in architecture? i was also thinking of doing philosophy as it’s also a subject i like, i’m also doing an enrichment subject of core maths as i won’t take it for a level because i don’t think i would be good enough at it😂.
i’ve been looking and seen that physics and engineering could be useful, would i need to take physics? and my sixth form only offers mechanical engineering which i don’t think would be useful, would my choices be okay? or could anyone recommend me useful subjects to take for a levels to get into a university for interior architecture.
You don’t need physics! A useful subject could be Art as you would need to create a portfolio and art would help as you would be making art pieces throughout the year

Search for the course you might be interested at degree level on one of the following sites, and then look at the course pages on the uni websites to check entry requirements:

Art - especially if you can specialise in textiles would be a helpful option alongside the more technical design side from D&T.

Pick subjects that you enjoy and think you’ll get the best grades in while giving yourself some free time to work on your portfolio. Not every IAD course will require a portfolio if you have creative A levels but it’s useful to have a portfolio - that’s something you’ll develop and use for work post degree.
Hello
My daughter has just applied to Interior Architecture. Do subjects you enjoy and will do well in, It is a bonus if they will help to contribute to your portfolio eg to show 3D design, photography or mixed media. DT is a good choice. My daughter has studied Product Design, Photography and Art. Check out your preferred Uni's for details of portfolio and entry requirements as they all differ. Many do not require specific subjects. Look also as to things you can do so you can boost your personal statement (eg personal development). Good luck
