Hi, my son studied part time one day a week over two years for a Level 4 certificate of higher education which was funded by his employer at the time. He now wants to change career and study full time for a degree in a completely different subject. I have rung SFW twice and have been told both times that part time study doesn’t affect full time study and he will get full student finance. Both times though, they seemed a little unsure and had to go and ask someone else. I can’t find anything in writing anywhere stating this.
Does anyone have any experience of this? Is it definitely true?
