help me please - 30 marker law question

Q10. To promote their newly-opened clothing stores, Elders advertised that any customer buying £100 in clothing in the first two months after opening would be entered in a draw for a new car worth £15 000. Fay spent £50 in the first month and intended to spend £50 more in the second month. However, at the end of the first month, Elders realised that the promotion was very profitable and issued a second advertisement which 'cancelled' the first and stated that customers would have to spend a total of £200 by the end of the second month to be eligible to be entered in the draw. Fay was furious because she did not want to spend more than £100 but she did want the chance to win the car.
Fay bought a powerful steam iron from Gregorys for £120. In fact, it ironed very poorly because it produced little steam. When Fay took it back to Gregorys after 12 days, Gregorys rejected her complaint. Fay also bought a washing machine for her daughter, Hattie, from Gregorys. Though she signed all the documents and gave her own address, she instructed Gregorys to deliver the washing machine to Hattie's address.
After 10 weeks, the washing machine overheated and caused £150 worth of damage to Hattie's clothing.
Gregorys refused to deal with Hattie because she had not bought the washing machine.
Consider Fay's rights and remedies against Elders, and consider the rights and remedies of Fay and of Hattie against Gregorys. [30 marks]
