It's great to hear that you're planning to do your Masters in York.

I've lived in York for over ten years now and I absolutely love it here. There are a lot of different birds and wildlife on campus, and in the city, and it makes it a really beautiful place to live and study in.

Personally, I've never had any negative experiences with the ducks or geese on campus. You have to be mindful around them when they've got their babies, but otherwise, they are very used to people being on campus, and they quickly become something you hardly notice! If you are worried about the geese, it might be worth visiting our campus if you can, to see for yourself what it's like.
